As the calendar year turns, many of us feel pressure to rush forward — to plan, push, and perform.
This gathering is an invitation to do the opposite.
According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, we are still in the Year of the Snake, a season associated with healing, shedding old skins, release, and deep rest.
The true energetic New Year doesn’t arrive until February 17, 2026, when the Fire Horse begins — a time of movement, expression, and outward momentum.
Until then, we are still in wintering.
A time to slow down.
To restore.
To let the body and nervous system reset before spring’s forward energy arrives.
Start the New Year with rest — not urgency.
We warmly welcome you to Yoga by the Sea for a tranquil and nourishing evening of Yin Yoga + Sound Healing, held in community.
The evening begins with Yin Yoga, gently melting tension from the body through long-held, supported postures.
You’ll then rest in a Sound Healing Bath, immersed in the healing frequencies of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, Chimes, and Live ethereal vocals.
This is a journey inward — an invitation to reconnect with the wisdom of your body, access deep states of rest, and recalibrate your nervous system.
Perfect as a Saturday self-care date with yourself or a loved one 🤍
Sound healing is one of the oldest healing modalities, practiced for over 2,500 years across cultures.
It uses vibrational frequencies to support physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Because the human body is approximately 60% water, sound waves travel easily through tissues — helping to:
• Release stored tension
• Slow brainwaves
• Calm the nervous system
• Support deep relaxation and restorative states
Sound healing has been shown to improve sleep, reduce stress and chronic pain, and enhance overall mood and well-being.
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the connective tissues, where long-held physical and emotional stress often lives.
Postures are held for 3–5 minutes, inviting stillness, deep breathing, and presence — allowing the body to soften, release, and rebalance from within.
