Moving beyond Trauma to Wholeness –
Finding safety in your body,
An experiential Yoga therapy afternoon
with Lyne Lantaigne,
Certified Yoga Therapist
Come to have an intimate experience of your psoas muscle,
Often called the “muscle of the soul.”
Why is your psoas(ae) called the Great core connector?
it affects your respiration
It determines your posture (can be causing low back/hip pain)
It acts as a direct link to the fight-flight response
Tension in the psoas can lead to a variety of gut-related issues
it listens to your experience and contracts every time you are stressed, feel fear, are worried or anxious
It forms a bidirectional feedback loop with your emotions and mind states
Anatomically, it is considered part of the "deep front line,"(important chain in the myofascial system) linking to your very core.In this 4 hour practical study and exploration, you will receive information to deepen your understanding of what your body needs to return to emotional equilibrium and bring back a sense of safety, stability, ease and grounding in your life.
