An experiential Yoga therapy afternoon

Come to have an intimate experience of your psoas muscle, 

Often called the “muscle of the soul.”


Why is your psoas(ae) called the Great core connector?

  • it affects your respiration

  • It determines your posture (can be causing low back/hip pain)

  • It acts as a direct link to the fight-flight response

  • Tension in the psoas can lead to a variety of gut-related issues

  • it listens to your experience and contracts every time you are stressed, feel fear, are worried or anxious 

  • It forms a bidirectional feedback loop with your emotions and mind states

  • Anatomically, it is considered part of the "deep front line,"(important chain in the myofascial system) linking to your very core.In this 4 hour practical study and exploration, you will receive information to deepen your understanding of what your body needs to return to emotional equilibrium and bring back a sense of safety, stability, ease and grounding in your life.
